45W DPAK/TO252 POWER CHIP RESISTOR FOR AUTOMOTIVE APPLICATIONS

Designed to replace TO252 (DPAK) packaged resistors, RNP-45 operates at 45 watts with this small and light weight structure. Good performance at thermal resistance that rates only 1.0 ℃/W. Resistive is made of pulse resistant thick film that brings excellent high frequency property at 1.44 pF, 8.38 nH for the reactance. This small resistor has 1kW - 1us sufficiently high pulse resistant trait at wide range of operating temperature, -55°C ~ +175°C.

Misawa, Japan (1 March 2017) — To provide design engineers with highly reliable, small size 900W power resistors in SOT227 package that shows lowest available reactance in the market Nikkohm has introduced RPK900 series for inverter applications. These unique resistors use Nikkohm’s proprietary thin film process on aluminum nitride substrate and offer 900W rated power, 5kV insulation, low parallel capacitance of 13pF, low series inductance13nH. Such a low reactance provides up to 10MHz high frequency operation and 1μs pulse operation.
